Services
Veterans Audiology offers three services: Free Telephone Consultations, Record Reviews, and Independent Medical Opinions. Our Reviews and Opinions are composed by a licensed Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.), who has performed thousands of VA Claim & Pension exams for Veterans seeking VA Benefits due to Hearing Loss and Tinnitus.
To determine if we can help with your Claim, book a free consultation. You will be called by one of our Veteran Liaisons. Everyone working at Veterans Audiology is also a Veteran. During your phone consultation you will be able to discuss your case, and your concerns. Our Liaison can answer any questions you may have about how this process works. If you are shy, not to worry. You may also reach out to us. Please use the "Contact Us" link, which is located at the top and bottom of this page.
During your FREE telephone consultation, your Liaison will let you know which documents need to be submitted. You will also be provided a link to our AES 256-bit encryption server, for secure and HIPAA compliant file uploads.
Our Au.D., will review all of your submitted documents. Veterans Audiology is proud of our integrity! If your claim does not seem to have merit, you will receive a detailed report explaining why it is unlikely for your claim to be successful, or what information is missing that will help your case.
We cannot provide an Independent Medical Opinion without first reviewing your service documents and medical records.
Independent Medical Opinions, also known as Nexus Letters, provide the information needed to link your hearing loss and tinnitus to your military service. You need a nexus from military service to your claimed condition. The most common reason for VA denial is not based on how much hazardous noise you were subjected to on duty. Most veterans are denied due to the lack of chronicity in service or continuity of symptoms after service.
The VA does not grant service connection based on noise exposure alone. Our Opinion will include new and relevant information in order to substantiate your claim.
